This Privacy Policy explains how the CreativEngine Amend application (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, and stores
information when you authenticate with your Google account and use our application, which accesses YouTube data through
the YouTube API.

1. Information We Collect

When you authenticate with your Google account to use our application, we request read-only access to your YouTube data via the YouTube Data API v3. Specifically, we access:

  • Your publicly available playlists (e.g., titles, video lists)
  • Your publicly available videos (e.g., titles, descriptions, statistics)
  • OAuth access and refresh tokens for authentication

We do not collect or access any private YouTube data, personal contact information, or sensitive Google account details.

  • Retrieving, storing, and displaying your public playlists and videos
  • Managing your authenticated session through stored tokens

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or sharing with third parties.

  • We store information regarding your publicly available YouTube videos, such as date, description, title, the YouTube URL, and accessibility status.
  • Your access and refresh tokens are securely stored using encryption and are only used to maintain your session and refresh API access.

You can also revoke permission from within the CreativEngine Amend application at any time.

You can revoke the application’s access to your YouTube account at any time by visiting the Google Security Settings. Once access is revoked, we will no longer have the ability to access your data. You can also revoke permission from within the CreativEngine Amend application at any time.
